Questions from associations, evaluators and families

iRink is a platform for minor hockey associations in Canada. It brings together IP Skate, player evaluations during tryouts, team building, player development and the player passport, so information collected on the ice is never typed twice.

Evaluators use the iRink Evaluator app on their phone. They find a player by pinnie number, score each criterion, and can add written, voice or short video notes. Scores save automatically and stay editable while the session is open.

Yes. Evaluations keep working offline in the arena and sync automatically when the connection returns.

Several evaluators score each player on the same criteria, and administrators see coverage and confidence by division, so they can spot players who were not observed enough before final decisions are made.

Access is limited by role, division and team. Evaluators only see the sessions they are assigned to, coaches see their own team, and families see their own child in a private family portal. Sensitive actions are recorded in an audit trail.

The iRink platform and its data are hosted in Canadian data centres.

Yes. The player passport keeps a player's development history, including when they transfer between associations.
